Conflict! The conflict the big part in the story that shocks everyone in the story or the book. The conflict in "The Tell-Tale Heart" is when the killer has killed the old man and he is hiding him in the floor. That is the conflict because when you are reading the story and you read that you are just in shock that someone like that would kill the old man.Also because it started off everything and end everything in that kind of tone. |

Point of View! The point of view is what the text is like. What I mean by that is it in first person, second person, or third person. This story is in first person. How i know that because when the killer was talking it would say "I" or "me". When they were talking about the old man he would say "he" and was talking about their relationship between each other.The point of view of this story is first person because of they way that Edgar Allan Poe wrote the way that the killer (one of the main characters) would talk or say things. |
